SHRUG WRAPPING

Jacket-Style

Step 1: At shoulder length, place fabric retangularly across shoulders

Step 2: Fold back top of fabric to form large collar-look

Step 3: At the wrist, fold fabric back cuffing into sleeve style

Step 4: Take loose ends of sleeves and crease back into a fold then connect both creased pieces with large pin fastener
             (have fabric fringes facing outward)

Step 5: To close top portion of sleeve, pin from inside using smaller fasteners
             (have fabric fringes facing outward)

Optional: Form tightness of jacket to desired fit

Skirt-Wrap

Step 1: Using rectangular shape of fabric, wrap material around waist

Step 2: While placed around waist, fold fabric down to create a waist-band effect

Step 3: Lap one side of fabric inward (to desired fit) then overlap other piece

Step 4: Use small pin fastener to secure at the waistline, and use larger fasteners to secure opening in skirt

Step 5: Skirt can be worn with slit shown in front or on the side

Optional: The other large fastener can be placed at closure to give added look

Poncho Wrap

Step 1: Using rectangular shape of fabric, fold top of material back to form collar-look

Step 2: Place fabric over one side of shoulder and bring across chest to lay over hip

Step 3: With fabric from back side, bring around under the other arm toward front so both pieces touch

Step 4: Overlapping one piece on top of other use large pin fastener to secure pieces (swaying on side of hip)

Optional: May use other large fastener on top of poncho as a broach

SHAWL WRAPPING

One-Sleeve Blousy Look

Step 1: Place fabric around back and position under one arm

Step 2: Allow other piece of fabric to rest on shoulder

Step 3: With one side placed on shoulder, drape front of material across chest-to-shoulder

Step 4: Overlap fabric to make sleeve and connect with a broach

Optional: May use another broach at end of sleeve to close gap

Drape Wrap Look

Step 1: Place fabric around back and position under both arms

Step 2: Wrap one side of fabric snuggly across chest

Step 3: Overlap remaining fabric and connect both top pieces with a broach

Skirt Wrap Look

Step 1: Using rectangular shape of fabric, wrap material around waist

Step 2: While placed around waist, fold fabric down to create a waist-band effect

Step 3: Lap one side of fabric inward (to desired fit) then overlap other piece

Step 4: At top of waistline, connect adjourning pieces with fastener to secure

Optional: Skirt can be worn with slit shown in front or on the side.  May use broach to secure closure of slit

SARONG CUT - STYLES

Front Wrap

Step 1: Place wrap from back and position fabric under both arms

Step 2: Bring both tie-ends together and begin tying

Step 3: Stretch fabric toward bosom and tie in knot form

Step 4:
 Allow loose ends to hang

Optional: May use belt buckle to secure tie-ends and fastener to secure opening

Back Wrap

Step 1: Follow procedures for “Front Wrap”

Step 2: Once garment is secured in front, rotate fabric toward back

Step 3: Ensure opening appears in back versus front

Optional:
 May use belt buckle to secure tie-ends

Shirt Wrap

Step 1: Place fabric at back and position under one arm

Step 2: Hold back tie-end over shoulder and drape fabric across chest so tie-ends meet

Step 3: With tie-ends meeting above shoulder, tie in knot form or use belt buckle

Step 4: Square off knot for neat appearance, allow loose ends to hang

Optional: On side where opened, may use fastener to secure

Skirt Wrap

Step 1: Spread fabric around waist to rest on hips

Step 2: Cross one side of material on top of the other

Step 3: Connect adjourning pieces with broach to secure

Skirt Look (Using Long Nylon Fabric)

Step 1: Drape nylon fabric on top of each other to give a layered look

Step 2: Follow procedures for “Skirt Wrap”

Step 3: Layered look should appear dimensional and flared

Dress Wrap

Step 1: Place wrap from back and position fabric under both arms

Step 2: At front, bring tie-ends together and intertwine fabric pieces twice

Step 3: Bring around to back of neck and tie

Optional: May use fashionable belt buckle and knot fabric to secure

Sarong Wrap

Step 1: Spread fabric around waist to rest on hips

Step 2: Position opening to one side and tie-ends together

Step 3: Square off knot to give neat look and flare out loose ends

Optional: May use fashionable belt buckle to secure ends

How to use belt buckle

Bring both ends together. Pull ends through upper loop until fabric tightens. Bring loose ends downward and pull through lower loop. Tie ends in knot form which secures buckle and fabric. Allow loose ends to hang.
